SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of psychology, physiology, neurophysiology, and marketing; namely, to a method for assessing the functional state of a person by a set of characteristics of the walk and/or motion kinematics, and can be used in the field of promotion of goods and services of various companies, in particular, for increasing the conversion of products offered by companies to users. Proposed is a method wherein the walk and/or motion kinematics characteristics of at least one user visiting a company are recorded; the functional state of the user is determined based on the findings using a trained neural network, and the user is offered an advertising offer and/or an advertised product most matching the determined functional state, such that would most probably be perceived by the user as positive, and/or such that the further consumer behaviour of the user would most probably be expressed in agreeing to use the offered product or service.

EFFECT: expanded range of methods for determining the functional state of people, increase in the number of positive responses of users when offered goods and services, increase in the rate of conversion of goods and services offered by companies and/or enterprises providing goods or services, increase in the accuracy of predicting consumer behaviour.
