FIELD: signal radiation sources.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to direction finders of signal radiation sources and is intended for determining the angular coordinates of aircraft and other objects in radar and radio navigation systems. The method is based on measuring phase differences between signals received by diversity antennas, determining consistent unambiguous values of direction cosines on coarse, intermediate and fine scales (bases) and forming the resulting estimate of the direction cosine by weight summing the indicated values.
EFFECT: improving the accuracy of direction finding of radiation sources.
