FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: agrochemical agent for soil reclamation is characterised by consisting of a mixture of converter slag and secondary steel treatment slag of a fraction up to 10 mm. All components are taken at a certain ratio. Method for producing the agrochemical agent includes the stages of discharging the converter slag and the secondary treatment slag in the slag field, subsequently cooling the converter slag to a temperature of 15 to 60 °C and the secondary treatment slag to a temperature of 10 to 40 °C, destructing the converter slag into 150–300 mm fractions, subjecting the secondary treatment slag to silicate disintegration into fractions of no more than 50 mm, mixing, crushing, performing magnetic separation and sorting the above types of slag, isolating a fraction of up to 10 mm. Application of the agrochemical agent as a soil ameliorant by adding the agent into the soil prior to planting agricultural plants, wherein the consumption of the agrochemical agent if in the range of 2,700 to 3,800 kg per ha of the cultivation soil.

EFFECT: possibility of increasing the efficiency of slag treatment, improving the quality of ameliorants based on metallurgical slags, improving the structural state of the soil and increasing the yield of cultivated crops.
