FIELD: material engineering.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to magnetic abrasive treatment of machine-building products and can be used for processing complex profile surfaces of products. The method involves copying the profile of the treated surface by a magnetic system, its orientation to a given value of the working gap, which is filled with a magnetic abrasive mass, and giving the magnetic system an oscillating motion, and a rotational motion to the workpiece. The magnetic system with an inductor is made in the form of a cassette with permanent magnets and magnetic circuit plates of various configurations. The cassette is oriented relative to a complex profile surface with the location of the working surfaces of permanent magnets parallel to the tangents to the treated surface. A set value of the working gap is provided by reciprocating movement of the cassette. The design of the device for the implementation of the specified processing method is given.
EFFECT: uniform processing of a complex profile surface is provided.
