FIELD: locomotives wheel sets measuring.
SUBSTANCE: device includes a base with uprights and a traverse on which measurement units are installed, a basing unit with pushers mounted for longitudinal movement and interaction with a wheel pair, and turning and fixing mechanisms located in the basing unit. The measurement units are connected to the corresponding meters through the transverse movement mechanisms. The basing unit is equipped with control sensors. Pushers are installed in the basing unit to interact with the center holes of the wheelset and hold it in the measurement position. The device has an additional wheel pair traction gear measuring device, which is connected through the transverse movement mechanism to the gear measuring unit mounted on the traverse with the possibility of longitudinal movement.
EFFECT: increasing the functionality of the device for measuring the linear dimensions of wheel sets of locomotives.
