SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for monitoring the level of liquids, and can be used to record the level of water, oil, petroleum products and other types of liquids in containers, open or closed tanks, wells, etc. A liquid level meter, including a housing and a vertical guide located below, placed in a container and communicating with it, a float with a density lower than the density of the liquid being measured, installed in the guide with the possibility of longitudinal movement. The housing located above the container is transparent. Inside the guide, at least one additional guide is installed coaxially, communicating with the guide, under a corresponding additional float having a density less than the density of the liquid being measured, but greater than the density of the liquid located above the liquid being measured. Each float is equipped with a measuring rod on top, designed to move inside the housing when the level of the corresponding liquid changes. Each measuring rod is equipped with two marks corresponding to the maximum and minimum level of the corresponding liquid for visual control through the transparent body.

EFFECT: creation of a simple and reliable liquid level meter that does not require additional power and allows you to measure the levels of liquids of different densities in a container due to the presence of additional floats of different densities.
