SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a sheet for creation of watermarks, to a method for the manufacture of such a sheet, to a unit for creation of watermarks, containing such a sheet, to a method for the manufacture of a unit for creation of watermarks, to paper with watermarks, created using a sheet for creation of watermarks, as well as to a protected document, which contains paper with watermarks. At the same time, the sheet for creation of watermarks contains a base having (i) a surface for operation with water and (ii) a surface for operation with fiber, opposite to the surface for operation with water, while the base is capable of being subjected to deformation or ablation for creation of at least part of a watermark; a pattern consisting of at least two distinctive features – watermarks; and a group of narrowing holes passing from the surface for operation with water to the surface for operation with fiber, while the pattern consisting of at least two distinctive features – watermarks is distributed along a continuous area of the surface for operation with fiber.

EFFECT: invented sheet for creation of watermarks allows for obtainment of watermarks of a higher quality.
