FIELD: rocket engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket engine building. Liquid propellant rocket engine contains structurally connected annular combustion chamber, mixing head and pin nozzle. External and internal electrical windings are introduced into the engine, placed in the combustion chamber housing and connected to an additional source of electrical energy. The body of the annular combustion chamber is made of a magnetically conductive material. The mixing head is connected by a current lead to the positive pole of the main source of electrical energy and is electrically insulated from the combustion chamber housing. The central body is made of a dielectric material, and an annular compensator cathode is installed at the base of the central body, connected by a current lead to the negative pole of the main source of electrical energy.
EFFECT: increase in the specific thrust impulse of a liquid-propellant rocket engine is provided.
