FIELD: rocket-space engineering, mainly applicable in cruise and control rocket engines of space vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: the liquid-propellant rocket engine has a chamber consisting of an annular combustion chamber, injector annular combustion chamber, injector assembly and a plate nozzle. The interior of the plate nozzle and the outlet section of the exterior of the plate nozzle are made of a current-conducting material, coupled to the engine chamber through distance pieces of dielectric material and connected to the opposite poles of the electric power source via current leads.
EFFECT: provided enhanced specific impulse of the engine due to enhanced exhaust velocity of the propulsive mass from the chamber.
