FIELD: rocket engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed low-thrust liquid-propellant rocket engine operating on chemical propellant consists on cylindrical housing accommodating hollow bushing made on heat-resistant material and arranged on housing of mixing head forming combustion chamber space together with inner space of bushing, and propulsive jet nozzle. Bushing and propulsive jet nozzle are made of dielectric material. Propulsive jet nozzle is provided with two ring slots with fitted-in ring electrodes made of heat-resistant material, inner diameter of electrodes being equal to inner diameter of section of propulsive jet nozzle. Electrodes are connected with current conductors placed in outer longitudinal slots of propulsive jet nozzle, being insulated from housing and brought out of housing. EFFECT: increased specific impulse of engine. 1 dwg
