SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a current collector for a contact rail. Current collector apparatus for high-speed rail transport made for stable energy transmission consists of a movable carriage and guides for the movement thereof inside the current collector body, as well as two chambers with pressurised gas inside the current collector body, said chambers being connected to the carriage by gas-impermeable bellows. Also claimed is an alternative variant of the current collector with a single chamber with pressurised gas inside the body, said chamber connected to the carriage by a gas-impermeable bellows, and an elastic mechanical structure installed coaxially with the bellows. Said carriage is equipped with a conductive insert with a current lead for energy transmission from the contact rail to the vehicle.

EFFECT: higher stability of energy transmission at high speeds of the transport.
