FIELD: aircraft technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a transport system and to a method for transporting people and goods by air by aircraft. The transport system is equipped with a vertical take-off aircraft with an electric motor, a winch is installed in the lower part of the aircraft. The aircraft are powered from the current conductors by means of a current collector moving along the overpass, with the transfer of energy from the current collector by means of an electric cable to the aircraft. A power cable connected to the quadcopter is laid on the winch coil. The quadcopter in the lower part is equipped with a contact pad. The movement of the current collector through the transport system is carried out along overpasses with current conductors. The overpasses are raised above the ground on supports. Throughout the entire length of the transport system, there are take-off sites that are connected to the main overpasses by an entrance section and an exit section.

EFFECT: as a result, the design of the aircraft is simplified, due to the lack of fuel, fire safety and a reduction in the risk of accidents are achieved.
