FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular to bicycle saddles. The bicycle saddle includes a base with a central channel located on a frame that is connected to the seat post. The saddle base contains a channel with an ovoid cross-sectional shape, located along the longitudinal axis of the saddle base along its entire length. The rear part of the saddle base contains support pads. The middle part of the base of the saddle has an inclined surface located at an angle to the supporting platforms so that the edge of the inclined surface, opposite the supporting platforms, is located below the supporting platforms. The inclined surface of the middle part of the saddle base contains symmetrically located recesses forming a rigid flat surface, which is in line with the bearing surface of the pads of the rear part of the saddle base. The surface of the front part of the saddle base is located at an angle to the middle part of the saddle base in such a way that one edge of the front part surface is located below the opposite edge.
EFFECT: increased safety of bicycle saddle use.
