SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for identifying elements of rolling stock and can be used in the transport industry. The substance of the invention lies in the radio-frequency identification tag of a railway wheel, containing a body consisting of a base and a cover, characterized in that the cover is additionally provided with an element for accommodating a means for fixing the tag, and the means for fixing the tag is installed in the elements for placement in the cover and base.
EFFECT: reducing the risk of a defect in the RF tag housing and the loss of the radio frequency element during the operation of the railway vehicle wheel identification tag.
