SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic control and number accounting on railway transport. In method of integration of railway wheel automatic means of radio frequency identification on side surface of wheel hub passive radio-frequency RFID tags are installed, then data on tag are entered into a data base and compared with identification number of wheel, where there is tag is located.
EFFECT: possibility of automatic identification of railway wheel throughout service life from manufacturing to recycling.
