FIELD: measuring technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measuring technology and relates to a method for measuring the volume of a grain mixture in grain harvesting equipment. The method consists in the fact that at the moment of grain movement, located on the transporting blades of the elevator of grain harvesting equipment, images of the grain mixture with a grid of lines superimposed by a laser module are recorded, and the images are transmitted to the data processing unit. The data processing unit determines the grain mixture, the upper limit of which it considers to be the base of the grain hill. Next, the points of intersection of the grid lines are compared with the points of intersection of the lines of the reference grid, previously superimposed by the laser module on an empty conveying blade. Then, in the data processing unit, the volume of the grain mixture is estimated for each elevator blade passing under the digital camera.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of measuring the volume of the grain mixture collected by grain harvesting equipment.
