SUBSTANCE: method for determining the calibration data for a grain loss sensor at a combine harvester includes measuring the amount of grain losses left by the combine harvester during the harvesting operation. The grain loss sensor measures the grain losses during the harvesting operation. Measuring marks are assigned to the measured quantities of grain losses and the grain loss values measured by the sensor. Based on the comparison of the measured amounts of grain losses and the grain loss values measured by the sensor, the calibration data for the grain loss sensor are determined by means of the measuring marks.

EFFECT: method for determining the calibration data for the grain loss sensor ensures defining improved calibration data for the grain loss sensor at a combine harvester.
