FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular to a conveyor system with a closed conveyor belt for transportation of bulk materials. The conveyor system contains a rail track, support devices, a continuous carrying belt, guide rails of the carrying belt. A method for transportation of bulk material includes stages, at which bulk material is laid on the continuous carrying belt. The specified continuous carrying belt is imparted with a closed configuration, in which the continuous carrying belt embraces bulk material. Guide rails of the carrying belt are placed in fixed positions adjacently to the rail track and separate from each other along a length of the rail track between a loading end and an unloading end. The continuous carrying belt is maintained in the closed configuration during its movement along the rail track, using the specified guide rails of the carrying belt.
EFFECT: simplification of a structure is achieved.
