FIELD: waste recycling.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to receiving devices of automatic machines that receive, recognize and sort used household plastic, glass or metal containers by receptacles, powered by their presence in the receiving device with the payment of its collateral value. The device contains a housing with an inlet, a movable flap, a support surface, a container recognition tool, deflecting elements, electromagnets, and a control unit. The support surface is placed under the inlet at an angle to the horizon with the possibility of ensuring the movement of the introduced container along it due to the force of gravity and additionally contains a balanced platform placed on the axis interacting with a capacitive sensor, two deflecting elements connected to the cores of the corresponding electromagnets, an optical sensor, as well as two grooves with optical sensors, and the mentioned flap it is placed on an inclined traverse with the possibility of providing movement due to the force of gravity and an electric motor connected to the flap by means of a cable, placed on a drum mounted on the axis of an electric motor. The device receives and recognizes the material of the accepted container and distributes it to the appropriate receptacles.

EFFECT: device can be widely used in automatic machines for separate collection and disposal of not only used containers from liquid food products, but also other solid household waste; the probability of recognizing the material is more than 90%.
