FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to fiber laying machines, and in particular to modular fiber laying heads for laying multiple segments of composite tape on a mold. The head contains: one or more track assemblies, each of which contains one or more channels for the passage of a fluid medium that receive compressed air, a piston assembly that selectively moves relative to the track assembly in response to the arrival of compressed air, a mounting seat made with the possibility of releasing the connection of the track assembly with a part of the head for laying fibers, a hole in the track assembly, made with the possibility of receiving a fastener that connects with the possibility of releasing the sub-node with the track assembly, moreover, the piston from the piston assembly engages with the sub-node, and the sub-node is connected with the possibility of release with each track assembly by a fastener adopted in the hole. The head contains: one or more cutting, clamping and restarting assemblies (CCR), each of which contains at least one cutting track assembly having a removable cutting sub-node, at least one clamping track assembly having a guide wheel, at least one restarting track assembly having a wheel with a drive. Moreover, each of the cutting, clamping and restarting track assemblies contains: one or more channels for the passage of the fluid that receive compressed air, a piston assembly that selectively moves in response to the intake of compressed air, a mounting seat made with the possibility of a released connection with a part of the head for laying fibers, a hole made with the possibility of receiving a fastener that connects with the possibility of release with a sub-node, and a cutting sub-node, connected with the possibility of release with the cutting track assembly.
EFFECT: development of laying heads that remain in working condition and are easy to maintain.
