FIELD: fibre processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a head for laying fibres. The technical result is achieved by a fibre laying head for applying a plurality of segments of a composite tape onto a mould. The head contains a frame that supplies the composite tape for application to the mould and is made with the possibility of a detachable connection with the robotic arm. A fibre application roller or carriage with the possibility of sliding is supported by a frame and applies composite tape segments to a mould. The roller or carriage for applying fibres moves linearly from one end of the frame to the other end of the frame along the axis (W).
EFFECT: reduction of the load on the fibre laying mechanism.
