FIELD: temperature control systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a temperature control system for a lithium-ion battery. The system contains a lithium-ion battery in a heat-insulated housing, the first and second external coolant circuits. The interior of the battery contains lithium-ion blocks, temperature control plates and piping. Lithium-ion blocks include heat sink plates. The piping system contains temperature sensors. The inner part of the battery is connected to the first external circuit through electrically controlled valves. The first external circuit includes the following connected by a system of pipelines with a liquid heat carrier: an expansion tank, an electric flow heater, a pump, a three-way electrically controlled valve, a liquid-gas heat exchanger. The liquid-gas heat exchanger connects the first and second external circuits. The second external circuit includes the following connected by a piping system with a gaseous freon coolant: an electric compressor, a dryer, an expansion valve, a gas pressure sensor and a radiator with a fan. The piping system in the inner part of the battery is made in the form of retaining and main lines. The retaining inlet line has a cross-sectional area equal to 0.45 of the cross-sectional area of the main supply line. Temperature control plates are made with an increase in the cross-sectional area of the channels from the periphery to the inner part of the block.

EFFECT: maintenance of the optimal temperature regime of the lithium-ion battery is achieved.
