THERMOSTATTING SYSTEM OF BATTERY MODULE AND HYBRID CAR INVERTER Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC B60H1/00

Abstract RU 2722217 C1

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely to design of cooling and heating systems of battery module and inverter of hybrid vehicles. System for thermostatting of battery module and inverter of hybrid car is made in form of low-temperature circuit including heat exchanger (1) of liquid-liquid type, cooling unit (2) with radiator (3) and electric blower (4), expansion tank (5), electric pump (6) installed in front of heat exchanger, two temperature sensors (7) and (8), one of which is installed on inlet of radiator (3), and the second one - at heat exchanger (1) outlet, and electric cock (9) placed before heat exchanger (1) inlet. Heat exchanger (1) and radiator (3) of cooling unit (2) are connected to batteries (10) and inverter (11). Heat exchanger (1) combines low-temperature circuit for thermostatting of battery module and inverter (11) with main circuit of engine heating system (12) by means of parallel connection. Heat exchanger (1) inlet is connected to the heat carrier supply pipeline to engine (12), and the outlet is connected to the cooled coolant discharge pipeline from engine (12) to prestart heater (13).

EFFECT: efficient heating of battery module and inverter of hybrid vehicle at negative ambient temperatures under conditions of non-storable storage.
