FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mining industry, in particular to the development of alluvial deposits and technogenic accumulations of mineral raw materials. Method for water supply for dredging operations includes creation of a technological reservoir for dredging by forming a dredging sinus between pebble dumps and a slope of a dredging section. A centrifugal pump is installed in the worked-out space of the drag sinus. The distance from the dredge to the installation site of the centrifugal pump corresponds to the condition: L=Hν/ω, m, where H is the discharge height, m; ν - flow velocity in the dredging section, m/s; ω - speed of sedimentation of efel particles in the dredging section, m/s.
EFFECT: reduction of mineral dilution and reduction of wear of pump and pipeline elements.
