FIELD: pharmaceutical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to pharmaceutical chemistry and includes benzimidazole derivatives of the formula (I), their production methods, intermediate compounds of formulas (IA), (IC), (ID), a pharmaceutical composition, an inhibition method, and the use. In the formula (I), ring A is selected from a group consisting of phenyl, piperidinyl, and thienyl; R1, R2, and R3, each independently, is selected from a group consisting of a hydrogen atom, halogen, and C1-6 alkyl; R4, in each case, is independently selected from a group consisting of a hydrogen atom, halogen, C1-6 alkyl, C1-6 halogenalkyl, C1-6 alkoxy, C1-6 halogenalkoxy, cyano, and -NR11R12, while the specified C1-6 alkoxy is possibly substituted with C1-6 alkoxy groups in a number from one to three; R5a is hydrogen; R5b is selected from a group consisting of a hydrogen atom, C1-6 alkyl, hydroxy, C1-6 hydroxyalkyl, -(CH2)xNR10COR9, -NR10COCH2OR8, -(CH2)xC(O)OR8, -(CH2)xCONR11R12, and -(CH2)xNR11R12, while the specified C1-6 alkyl is possibly substituted with one morpholinyl; or R5a and R5b together form R6 is selected from a group consisting of C1-6 alkyl, C1-6 halogenalkyl, and -NR11R12, while the specified C1-6 alkyl is possibly substituted with groups in a number from one to three, selected from a group consisting of C1-6 alkoxy and 3-6-element cycloalkyl; R7, in each case, is independently a hydrogen or halogen atom; R8 is selected from a group consisting of a hydrogen atom and C1-6 alkyl; R9 is selected from a group consisting of C1-6 alkyl and 5-element heteroaryl containing two heteroatoms, which are N and O, while the specified C1-6 alkyl and 5-element heteroaryl, each, is possibly substituted with C1-6 alkyl groups in a number from one to three; R10 is a hydrogen atom; R11 and R12, each independently, are selected from a group consisting of a hydrogen atom, C1-6 alkyl, and 3-6-element cycloalkyl; n, s, x are equal to 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4.
EFFECT: benzimidazole derivatives of the formula (I) as inhibitors of a retinoid-related orphan receptor gamma (RORγ).
