FIELD: printing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for the manufacture of a device of alumomagnesian spinel, using 3D-printing, for filtration of molten metal. Powder of industrial aluminum oxide, sintered or melted corundum powder, melted or sintered magnesian powder is used as raw materials. Dextrin, methylcellulose, or resin is used as binding material. Printing material of alumomagnesian spinel for 3D-printer is prepared by means of ball milling, filtration with suction, and mixing of raw materials with binding material. A workpiece is made using 3D-printing technology, a finished device for filtration of molten material is obtained after drying and annealing. A diameter of holes of the resulting device of alumomagnesian spinel is adjusted; a size of the diameter of holes and their distribution are uniform, a filtration effect is good.
EFFECT: device is characterized by high thermal resistance and erosion resistance.
