SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, namely to feeding broiler chickens. The method for reducing lipid oxidation in compound feed and improving the quality of broiler chicken meat during its storage includes feeding the bird with compound feed that is nutritionally balanced and contains a biologically active substance. The natural antioxidant dihydroquercetin is used as a biologically active substance in an amount of 5.0 to 15 g/t of feed throughout the poultry rearing.
EFFECT: use of the invention will reduce the oxidation of feed lipids and broiler meat lipids during storage, as well as improve the zootechnical performance of raising chickens.
