FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. A laser iridectomy is carried out with a wavelength of 1064 nm, a power of 3 mJ. In this case, 5 pulses are applied in the segment adjacent to the drainage tube. Next, iridoplasty is performed around the drainage tube with a laser-coagulator with a wavelength of 532 nm, a power of 300 mW, a spot diameter of 200 μm, with the application of 28 coagulates: along the tube, 12 coagulates on each side of it in two rows and 4 coagulates in one row before the end of the blocked tubes.
EFFECT: method allows to restore the patency of the Ahmed drainage for a stable hypotensive effect and prevention of further loss of visual functions.
