FIELD: glass production.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a quenching installation for quenching glass sheets. The quenching installation contains the main quenching station having upper and lower main quenching heads for performing the main operation of quenching a glass sheet, the first lower auxiliary quenching head located downstream relatively to the main quenching station, and the second lower auxiliary quenching head located downstream relatively to the first lower auxiliary quenching head. The installation additionally contains an upper auxiliary quenching system located above the first and the second lower auxiliary quenching heads. The upper auxiliary quenching system is made with the possibility of interaction with lower auxiliary quenching heads for further cooling of the glass sheet. The installation additionally contains a conveyor located above the second lower auxiliary quenching head for movement of the glass sheet from the second lower auxiliary quenching head.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of quenching glass sheets for improvement of glass processing.
