FIELD: glass processing systems.

SUBSTANCE: glass processing systems intended for bending glass sheets. Method for processing glass sheets is carried out using a glass processing system, which has a bending station with first and second movement mechanisms. The method involves operating the glass processing system in a first mode, in which the bending station contains first and second moulds connected to the first and second movement mechanisms, respectively. The first mode includes operation of the movement mechanisms independently of each other in order to move the first and second forms independently of each other. Next, the glass processing system operates in the second mode, in which the bending station contains a third mould connected to the first and second movement mechanisms. Moreover, the second mode includes the simultaneous operation of movement mechanisms in order to move the third form. The first and second forms contain the first and second upper forms, respectively. Moreover, when the glass processing system operates in the first mode, the bending station contains a lower mould, which is mounted on a movable mould support configured to move in the transverse direction to move the lower mould from a position under the first upper mould to a position under the second upper mould so that the lower form is spaced transversely from the first upper form.

EFFECT: expansion of the arsenal of glass processing tools and increase of efficiency of glass processing.
