SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of heat engineering and can be used in the manufacture of plate heat exchangers. In a method for manufacturing a plate heat exchanger, which includes the steps at which each workpiece of heat exchange elements made in the form of two titanium alloy plates is sealed along the perimeter by welding and spot welding is carried out over the area, forming a complex labyrinth for the passage of the coolant, zones are made along the ends of each workpiece to form collectors for the inlet and outlet of the working medium into the internal cavities of the plates, a package of blanks is formed from heat exchange elements with a given gap between each of the blanks and a fitting is welded through which gas is supplied under pressure at a temperature of 600-950°C, the said package is shaped, while regulating the gas pressure, maintaining the rate of deformation of the workpieces.
EFFECT: increasing the strength to static and cyclic loads and increasing the corrosion resistance of the heat exchanger.
