FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of metal patch for strengthening of front edge of fan blade. Two workpieces are made, diffusion welding of workpieces is performed in a package with inner cavity, twisting and pneumatic forming of the package. Inner cavity of the package is formed by milling the workpieces with providing the profile of the reinforced part of the patch with radius of variable value and side walls with the specified thickness. Prior to the diffusion welding, a process insert is installed in the package cavity, the insert repeating the cavity shape of the package with the anti-welding coating applied on it. Then, stack is assembled and its cavity is evacuated.

EFFECT: result is accurate configuration of inner cavity of patch.
