SUBSTANCE: methods and devices for obtaining a substrate are described. Also presented is a method and apparatus for introducing a component into a supplied amount of fluid. The method may include providing a first supplied amount of fluid. In some embodiments, the amount of fluid delivered may be in the form of foam. The method may also include providing a component loading system and providing a supply quantity of the component. In some aspects, the method may include introducing the component into the amount of fluid supplied in the ejector.

EFFECT: resulting slurry containing the supplied amount of fluid and the component can be transported through the headbox; resulting slurry may be dehydrated to provide a support containing the component.
