FIELD: pipeline transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of pipeline transport and can be used in the construction and repair of pipelines made of fiberglass materials. A method for repairing fiberglass pipes includes installing a bandage on the outer surface of a defective fiberglass pipeline. Two segments with internal end grooves at the ends are used as a bandage. After installing the segments, they are fastened together. In the process of bonding, a heat-insulating gasket is installed between the segments and the fiberglass pipeline. Sealing elements are installed along the ends of the fastened segments. Behind the sealing elements, prefabricated pushers are installed and fastened together. After fastening the prefabricated pushers, they are axially displaced towards the ends of the fastened segments with the possibility of sealing elements resting against the inner end grooves and compression, and subsequent fixation from further axial displacement.

EFFECT: proposed method improves the efficiency of repairing fiberglass pipes at any ambient temperature, promptly eliminates the leakage of the pumped liquid, reduces the amount of earthworks and optimizes the cost of repair work.
