FIELD: protective masks images.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for generating colored protective masks on images of people's faces. In the method, the generation of colored protective masks is performed directly on the original texture of the original face images, providing high realism of the generated masks and the organicity of their placement on the faces. The options for generated masks are determined by the choice of parameters of the mask model and its shape, texture, and color gamut parameters. The resulting sets of color images of faces with masks can be used to create databases or visual corpora intended for training and testing face recognition systems, including those based on neural networks.
EFFECT: increasing the realism of the generated colored protective masks.
