FIELD: facial image recognition.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in access control systems. The method includes localizing on a 3D image of an object areas of altered facial relief obtained by superimposing a thermal image, performing virtual modelling of biometric data of a grouped image and predicting possible deviations based on natural and/or artificial reasons with face recognition, if there is no difference in the examined biometric data, the person is identified, and if there is a difference in the examined biometric data, the fact of non-identification of the person is recorded, followed by visualization on the computer monitor of the results of identifying the person’s face being examined with the original and storing them in the database.
EFFECT: increased reliability of identification of the original in the event of artificial and natural changes in the relief of a person's face.
