FIELD: agricultural machinery industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machinery industry. The device comprises a washing bath with a drain hole and a loading gate. A lower part of the bath is made in the form of a hollow right truncated cone, facing downwards with a smaller base. A screw conveyor enclosed in a casing is installed in the bath on a vertical drive shaft, as well as an intake socket, made in the form of a hollow right truncated cone, facing downwards with a smaller base. The casing is equipped with an unloading gate. The diameter of the smaller base of intake socket matches the diameter of the casing. The socket is rigidly attached to the casing from the side of its lower edge. The lower part of the bath is made with the formation of washing chamber, and of metal bars vertically located with gap. Metal rods are made in the form of perforated cylinder, the diameter of which coincides with the large base of the cone, formed by the socket. The cylinder base is combined with the back surface of the bath. An unloading gate of the chamber in the form of a gap between the bars is formed on the side of the unloading gate of the bath. The device is additionally equipped with two pairs of rods of equal length. The rods of each pair diametrically and vertically arranged relative to the axis of rotation of the shaft and rigidly attached to it by means of spokes placed horizontally. The diameter of the conditional cylindrical surface formed during rotation by two rods of the first pair is smaller than the inner diameter of the perforated cylinder of the washing chamber. The diameter of the conditional cylindrical surface formed during rotation by two rods of the second pair is two times smaller than the diameter of the conditional cylindrical surface formed during rotation by two rods of the first pair, and the rods of both pairs are located in mutually perpendicular planes. At least two nozzles in the form of tubes with the possibility of supplying fluid under pressure through them are attached to the bottom-most part of the bath from its outer side, vertically and symmetrically relative to the axis of rotation of the shaft. A pipeline with a valve is connected to the free ends of the nozzles.
EFFECT: present invention provides improved washing quality of tuberous roots.
