DEVICE FOR WASHING ROOT CROPS Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A23N12/02

Abstract RU 2783953 C1

FIELD: agricultural engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural engineering, in particular to devices for washing root crops. The device additionally contains a hopper for preliminary soaking of root crops and a sprayer with a drain pipeline. The washing bath is made with the formation of a bunker - a blind flat partition from the side of the loading window. The bunker is equipped with an unloading window with a shutter equipped with a screw mechanism for its drive, which includes a screw pair "nut-screw". The nut is rigidly attached to the baffle in its upper part, and the screw is formed on the damper shaft. The lower part of this shaft is fixed in the shutter with the possibility of free rotation in it, and a handle is attached to its upper part. The length of the screw part and its location on the damper shaft make it possible to install the damper in both the lower and upper positions.

EFFECT: use of the invention will make it possible to create a device that provides an improved quality of washing root crops.
