FIELD: geophysical surveys.

SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions relates to geophysical surveys of directional and horizontal wells in the process of well construction. The device for gauging and working out the wellbore includes a working swivel, a piston working through the nose, a centering element, a load indicator and an elastic element. The working swivel consists of a body and a shaft forming a hydraulic chamber. The piston is located on the swivel shaft. The probing nose is mounted on the body of the swivel and is made with at least one reinforced blade with cutting elements. The centering element is placed on the shaft and consists of a housing, a spring and a spring. The load indicator is located under the centering element and consists of a housing with flushing holes and a shaft. The elastic element is placed between the shaft and the load indicator housing. Gauge inserts are installed on the calibrating part of the reinforced blade. In the method for gauging and working out the wellbore, the device for gauging and working out the wellbore is installed between the drill pipe and a set of autonomous geophysical instruments. A set of autonomous geophysical instruments is mounted to the load indicator shaft using a threaded connection, then a centering element is attached to the load indicator body, then a working swivel is mounted and the drill pipe is attached. The device is lowered into the well and at the same time the wellbore is templated. In the event of a landing during descent, raise the device by at least 5 m, start circulation and determine the landing site. If the landing takes place on a complex of autonomous geophysical instruments, then the device with a complex of autonomous geophysical instruments is raised at the wellhead, the well is retrained and the device is lowered again until the required interval is reached. If the landing occurs on the working nose or higher along the drill string, then the wellbore is worked out by axial movements with simultaneous rotation of the drill string, while controlling the torque on the drilling tool and the pressure drop. After working out, the device is lowered until the required interval is reached.

EFFECT: simultaneous gauging and development of an open hole is provided during geophysical surveys on drill pipes.
