FIELD: testing.
SUBSTANCE: invention can find application in testing, in particular, repair compositions to assess their adhesion to the working concrete surface. In the method for determining the shear resistance of concrete samples, a combined concrete sample is tested, consisting of two parts of concrete samples in the form of two pyramids: a reference and a test composition, connected by the bases of the pyramids. First, a reference sample is made in the form of a half cube, cut along an inclined plane through opposite ribs, by placing the cube mold on the rib at a test angle, loading the reference mixture to the level of the top of the mold wall, compacting and hardening, after which the second pyramid is formed from the test composition by transferring the mold to its original position, laying the mixture of the studied composition on an inclined surface - the base of the reference pyramid, with the organization of a technological gap in the corner of the base of the reference pyramid. Then, compaction is carried out, followed by hardening and stripping, removal of the combined concrete sample, after which the sample from the test composition is tested for shear by applying a vertical shear load to it, measuring the maximum value and calculating the shear resistance. At the same time, the perimeter of the supporting surface of the investigated pyramid is formed with a gap relative to the perimeter of the base of the reference pyramid and a groove is formed in the form of a neck along the perimeter at the base of the pyramid from the studied composition. To form a groove in the form of a neck along the perimeter at the base of the pyramid from the test composition, a split template with a hole, the cross section of which corresponds to the cross section of the shear part of the pyramid under test, is placed on the base of the reference pyramid, after which the pyramid is formed from the test composition, it is hardened and the split template is removed.
EFFECT: simplifying the method for determining the shear resistance of concrete samples, increasing the reliability and accuracy of test results for determining the shear characteristics of concrete, reducing the material consumption and labor intensity of tests.
