FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aviation technology, in particular to mechanisms for controlling the operating modes of aircraft engines. The device for controlling the thrust of an aircraft engine contains a bracket on which an engine power control handle is mounted and is made in the form of a linear drive containing an armature with windings and an inductor with permanent magnets. At the same time, a handle with a guide roller and a linear position sensor of the handle are installed on the armature with windings.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the positioning accuracy of the engine power control handle by using a linear actuator and the possibility of electronic adjustment of the loading force on the handle.
