FIELD: space technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat-regulating coating for a radiation surface of a space object and to a method for formation of this coating. The method consists in that VL-02 primer layer and AK-512 white enamel layer with a delivery viscosity by VZ-4 from 60 to 85 s and a mass fraction of non-volatile substances from 54 to 58%, and a thickness from 80 to 100 mcm are preliminary applied to the radiation surface in series, and a solid mesh of recesses with a depth from 15 to 45 mcm is created on its surface. After that, a composition of a silicate binder, salt of BaSO4 alkaline earth element, a barium or lithium aluminate additive, distilled water is sprayed.
EFFECT: formation of heat-regulating coating with a low value of the ratio of a solar radiation absorption coefficient to a blackness degree during long-term operation, providing high adhesion, when applying heat-regulating coating to thin-wall radiation surfaces.
