FIELD: aviation, vertical takeoff and landing aircraft structures.
SUBSTANCE: vertical takeoff and landing aircraft equipped with a wing or wings with at least two straight elements rigidly fixed, passing perpendicularly through the wing plane and rigidly connecting a pair of propellers. In this case, the thrust of the propellers is parallel to the wing plane and directed across the wing. In lift mode, the plane of the wing and the thrust of the propulsion units are perpendicular to the ground. The device is transferred to the horizontal mode when the thrust of the propellers is out of balance. In level flight the lift force of the wing and the horizontal thrust of the propulsion units are used. Wings are mounted on a rotary axis connected to the body.
EFFECT: simplification of the design of the vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.
