FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic chemistry, namely, to the field of producing hydrocarbon-based foaming agents for the production of rigid polyurethane foams (RPUF) applied as heat insulation materials in various industries. Hydrocarbon foaming agent according to the invention is intended for producing rigid polyurethane foams for the purposes of heat insulation and contains n-pentane in an amount of 72 to 78 wt.%, isopentane in an amount of 15 to 21 wt.%, and cyclopentane in an amount of 4 to 10 wt.%.
EFFECT: higher compressive strength of the resulting polyurethane foam with the maintained heat conductivity and ensured stability of the linear dimensions, providing a possibility of producing high-quality rigid polyurethane foams for the purposes of heat insulation.
