FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a mixture of cyclopentane, isopentane and saturated hydrocarbons intended for introduction as a foaming agent into a composition for the production of rigid polyurethane foams (PUF) used as thermal insulation materials in various industries. This mixture contains, wt. %: 56-79 cyclopentane, 18-39 isopentane and 0.5-5 saturated hydrocarbons, as which a mixture of alkanes and cycloalkanes is used. The amount of this mixture introduced into the composition for the production of rigid polyurethane foams is 13.5-14.5 wt.pts.
EFFECT: foams obtained using this mixture as a foaming agent have increased compressive strength of the finished foam while maintaining the required thermal conductivity and ensuring the stability of linear dimensions, which makes it possible to obtain high-quality rigid polyurethane foams for thermal insulation purposes on a semi-industrial scale.
