FIELD: sports equipment.

SUBSTANCE: composite deck for a skateboard refers to boards (decks) for sports and recreation, namely to decks of sports skateboards, and is designed to accommodate the feet of an athlete (skateboarder) on the upper side, as well as to attach suspensions with wheels on the lower side. The composite deck for a skateboard consists of a core (1), a protective material (2), an upper composite layer (3), a lower composite layer (4), and a core (1), an upper composite layer (3) and the lower composite layer (4) is placed in the matrix (5) of the protective material (2). Such a structural design of the composite deck makes it possible to exclude from the structure any elements of fastening the protective material (2) to the core (1), since the connection of the matrix (5) of the protective material (2) and the core (1) with the composite layers (3 and 4) is done by adhesion of the matrix material (5) to the materials of the core (1) and composite layers (3 and 4), which greatly simplifies the design, in addition, assembly operations for connecting the protective material (2) and core (1) are eliminated, which increases productivity. The matrix (5) of the protective material (2) can be cast in parallel with attaching the layers (3, 4 and 7) of the composite deck in the mould, which further reduces the cost of manufacturing the composite deck.

EFFECT: simplified design, reduced cost of production, increased wear resistance, optimized weight, improved appearance of the composite deck.
