FIELD: furniture production; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention can be used for production of front surfaces of furniture with edge part. Method of manufacturing front surfaces of furniture with an edge part, including a backboard, an edge part and an adhesive composition containing a polyester resin, polymerization accelerators for polyester resins, catalyst, additives for polyester resins and fiberglass, contains stages at which the shield-base and edge part are made, the shield-base is polished on both sides, shield-base and edge part are coated with said adhesive composition, layer-by-layer coating is formed, and the shield-base and edge part are cured under pressure of 8–10 kg/cm2 for 1.5–2.5 hours. Method of furniture front surfaces manufacturing with edge part also includes stages, on which the shield-base and the edge part are laid on the racks for further polymerisation of the coating, the shield-base and the edge part are placed in a thermal cabinet for thermal stabilization and final polymerisation at temperature of 20–60 °C, installing, gluing the edge part with the help of said adhesive composition along the perimeter of the shield-base under the effect of temperature of 20–30 °C and pressure of 8–10 kg/cm2, technological overhangs are removed from the edge part and coated with the above adhesive composition.
EFFECT: high strength of front surfaces of furniture products with a decorative edge when exposed to unfavorable external factors, such as sharp drops in temperature and humidity.
