METHOD FOR ASSESSING SEVERITY OF CONDITION OF VICTIMS IN MOTOR-VEHICLE ACCIDENTS WITH A CONCOMITANT INJURY Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61B5/02 A61B5/245 A61B5/21 A61B5/08 A61B5/1455

Abstract RU 2790772 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to anaesthesiology and resuscitation. The assessment of clinical and instrumental findings of three systems is carried out: CNS, cardiovascular system and respiratory system. Each indicator of the state of the three systems is scored. Then the scores are summed up. If the sum is 0-8, a mild concomitant injury is determined; 9-24 points correspond to the moderate severity, and scores above 24 - to severe concomitant injury. If there are 2 points or more for the CNS and decompensations are absent from other systems, the severity of the condition is determined to be due to disorders in this system. If in the cardiovascular or respiratory system three or more indicators are scored as 1 or at least one indicator or more is scored as 2, the severity of the condition is due to disorders in the system where the most deviations occur.

EFFECT: method allows to reduce the number of complications and mortality by accelerating the choice of adequate tactics of intensive care due to a more accurate and prompt assessment of dysfunctions of body systems.
