FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fibre-optic shock conversion and detection devices and can be used to increase the operating range of a shock signalling device when remotely monitoring the fact and magnitude of shocks. The device contains a body element, an inertial mass made in the form of a massive plate with through holes, a spring holding the inertial mass in the initial state, and a spring fixing the inertial mass in the actuated state. At least one additional inertial mass is fixed in the device, similar to the main one, with a spring holding it in its original state, and a spring fixing it in the actuated state. In this case, the spring holding the additional inertial mass in the initial state has a stiffness different from the stiffness of the spring holding the main inertial mass. On opposite sides of the set of inertial masses, opposite each other, in the zone of location of through holes, light guides and a reflective surface are fixed, with the possibility of displaying the shock effect, by analysing the redistribution of the light flux caused by a combination of overlapped and non-overlapped holes in the inertial masses, fixed in the actuated state.
EFFECT: increasing the operating range of the shock signalling device.
