FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines (ICE). A two-stroke internal combustion engine is characterized by the fact that the body units (29) are assembled from modules (03) with a working stroke and with a trunk crank mechanism (TCM), and also with their ability to operate on fuel of kerosene-gas oil fractions and modules (04) with continued expansion of the exhaust gases and with a crosshead assembly (15) of the TCM. It is possible to transfer modules (04) with continued expansion of exhaust gases to a mode with a working stroke; for this, the covers of all cylinders are equipped with unified sockets (9) for injectors. Inside each prefabricated crosshead (15) of a cylindrical shape, an inertial gas compressor is mounted with a built-in self-acting check valve (14), located between a pair of springs (12) and with the ability to directly or indirectly cool the fresh portion of air entering the pressurized cylinder. The axes of movement of the crosshead and trunk TCM are located at an angle of 90° to each other. Connecting rods (10) and rod-tubes (11) are made of a cylindrical tube with subsequent plug ends, an internal cruciform profile and a pair of axial central holes, where the ends of the rod-tubes (11) are inserted with an interference fit to firmly connect the corresponding prefabricated ball joints of the assemblies TCM. To reduce the thermal diffusivity of the surface of the piston bottoms and the body of the cylinder covers, they are made by co-sintering the material and reinforcing the plates with perforated holes, while the inclination of the plates to the surface that is in contact with the combustion zone is equal to an angle of 90°.
EFFECT: increase in torque and in a decrease in fuel consumption, as well as the degree of uneven rotation of the internal combustion engine.
